Pearl of Horizons

Pearl of Horizons centres on a sailing vessel suspended within two sweeping, tapering arcs. Slender rigging traces the open space around its mast, while closely set colourless stones cover the sails. A serrated red band crosses one sail, and green accents follow the lower edges. Rows of red and blue stones articulate the hull against its gold-toned surface.

Below, curling waves gather blue and green stones within bright, stone-set borders. White spherical accents punctuate the crests and climb the inner edge of the right-hand arc. Palm trees, fortified walls and a miniature skyline extend across the foot of the composition. The dark, veined cylindrical plinth carries a further shoreline in gold-toned outline, with boats, towers and a bridge continuing the maritime scene.
