The Sovereign Wing

Two feathered wings rise in symmetrical curves around an ornate crown. Gold-toned ribs divide their surfaces into slender, stone-set sections, with green, red, blue and colourless stones tracing the contours. An oval green stone centres the crown, while small suspended drops articulate the outer feathers and the tapering ornament beneath it.

Below, interlaced arches frame a miniature fortress with a pointed entrance, stepped approach and a red-and-white flag. Jewelled waves spread across the foot of the composition. The dark, veined oval plinth carries a further architectural scene in gold tones, with sailing vessels and palm trees extending around its face.
