Wing of Hope

Wing of Hope frames a slender flowering stem between two rising wings. Gold-toned ribs divide the feathers into closely set passages of red, green and colourless stones. Their tapered tips curve inward, leaving an open centre where small leaves and star-shaped flowers branch into the surrounding space.

A large colourless stone anchors the lower star, its blue points edged with smaller bright stones. Above it, flowers of differing sizes carry the eye towards a final white star at the summit. A lustrous white oval rests beneath the central flower, softening the composition's angular geometry. The sculpture stands on a dark, pale-veined cylindrical plinth with gold-toned trim.
